Did you know that all teas come from just one plant? Camelia sinesis. The different characteristics that define the varieties of tea are a result of the curing process. Learn more here.
Black teas are full-flavored teas characterized by tannic, woody astringency with subtle flowery nuances. Very common in Asia, green teas have a grassy, brothy, astringent flavor and a brewed tea liquor that is green to yellow-green depending on the tea. Oolongs have characteristics of both green and black teas, and vary in color from reddish-brown to green-yellow. White teas are the most delicate of all, with a light, grassy, very mild flavor and a pale green-yellow color.
Frontier offers many black, oolong, green and white teas, so there is no excuse for not trying them all! And don't forget our delicious and healthy herbal teas.

Frontier sells loose leaf teas because they are consistently higher-grade than those used in tea bags, and they allow the leaves to unfurl in your cup to release the full flavor and aroma of the tea.
Frontier's loose-leaf teas are available in 1-lb bags–a great value compared with packagd tea.
